Description

Amrit Dhara is a potent, traditional Ayurvedic remedy used as a “first aid” solution for a wide range of ailments, primarily addressing digestive issues, pain relief, and respiratory congestion. It is a natural, liquid mixture often described as a “pocket doctor” due to its versatility and quick action.
Description and Composition
Amrit Dhara is typically composed of three natural, potent aromatic ingredients in equal proportions:
  • Menthol/Pudina Sat (Peppermint crystals): Provides a cooling sensation and relieves pain.
  • Ajwain Sat/Phool (Thymol crystals): Aids in digestion and reduces gas.
  • Kapoor/Camphor (Bheemsaini Camphor): Used for pain relief and topical application.
Key Benefits and Uses
  • Digestive Issues: Effectively treats stomach ache, indigestion, bloating, gas, nausea, and diarrhea.
  • Pain Relief: Acts as a remedy for headaches, muscle cramps, and joint pain when applied topically.
  • Respiratory Relief: Acts as a decongestant and expectorant for cough, cold, and blocked nose.
  • First Aid: Used for minor burns, insect bites, and cold sores.
  • Toothache: Helps reduce toothache pain.
How to Use
  • Oral (Internal): 1–2 drops can be taken with water or sugar to relieve stomach pain and indigestion.
  • Topical (External): Applied directly (1 drop) to the affected area (e.g., forehead for headache, skin for bug bites).
  • Inhalation: Inhaled to relieve congestion.
Precautions
  • It should not be used on children under 5 years old.
  • Avoid contact with eyes.
  • It is not recommended to use it undiluted in high doses.
  • Due to its hot nature, it should be used cautiously.
